Sports Matter Grants: Available by invitation-only to eligible youth sports nonprofits,
but organizations can join the Sports Matter Community to receive email updates on
potential grant opportunities and events.Sponsorship & Donations: Available to eligible local youth sports teams, leagues and

NBC Universal Local Impact Grants: Apply for regional grants awarded for work supporting Youth Education and Empowerment, Next Generation Storytellers, and Community Engagement in 12 markets; applications typically open in March/April.
REI Cooperative Action Fund: Recommend a potential grantee for consideration here. Grants
support nonprofits that serve U.S. communities and align with the Fund’s mission to make the
outdoors more accessible and inclusive for everyone.Target Community Engagement Fund: Apply for local $1K-$15K grants awarded nationwide for
work supporting Thriving Families, Vibrant Neighborhoods, Emerging Creative & Culture, and
Economic Opportunity; awarded on a bi-annually, typically in April and August.Target Community Giving Gift Cards: Print and submit an application at your nearest store, up
to $500 per nonprofit.Target Circle Community Support: Apply to participate in a quarterly program where Target Guests vote on nonprofits helping their community to receive a donation from Target.
Walmart Spark Good: Apply for a local grant with one or more of your local Walmart stores and ensure your nonprofit is in the Spark Good program where customers can round up purchases for the nonprofit of their choice.

Research which companies with local headquarters or a strong local presence have philanthropic priorities aligned with your mission and consider approaching them first with a fun, turnkey employee engagement experience or workforce development collaboration (if applicable) that may lead to future funding and a deeper partnership.Local Sports Team Foundations
